Korean Crackers-YUM!!!

Bella had to got to the Doctor today-I thought she had the chicken pox, but it turned out to be infantigo-too many scratches or bites from playing outside-anyway as we wait for the the prescriptions to be filled, we always go pick up sushi at the local Asian grocer--

Well, today while we were waiting for the rolls we shopped! They have the neatest things in that store. I wish I lived near a china town, I bet you could find some amazing bargains!

 Today I picked up a bag of Korean Crackers-called BONGBONG! They look like little hats! Or thin cinnamon rolls, or jelly rolls. So cute, and so tasty too!

If you have always wondered, and never ventured inside you should try out your local shops, the people are always friendly, and grateful that you want to try something new!

the new blog!!

Hey Yall!
I've made a few changes in my life over the past year-I just about lost everything, and it has been a hard road, but I'm on my way back up!!!
This blog will now be called Missouri Jane- Cantina & Creamery.
 I will be adding some of the recipes that I am using in my restaurant, lots of photos!( If i can figure it all out!)
And some of the trials and troubles that befall me as I try to make a go of it in this new food world!!
Am I crazy for doing this?  .....Yep  you better believe it!!

BUT I LOVE FOOOODDDDD!!!!YUM! and cooking, and all things mexican, or cowboy, or country, or horses...etc. You get the idea!


Anybody out there?

Oh and just so you know, i might sometimes post letters to my best friend  Gina who passed away on June 10, of this year.. I'm not crazy-really- just sad and I miss her so- and I have so much that I need to tell her-so you can skip over those and get right to the food-if you want.

Well it has been a while since I have had the chance to post, and I have missed it!
My promise to myself to always make time each day to share my thoughts- well- sometimes my thoughts just had to stay in my head~!
The past two weeks have been really hard , my Daughter was really sick for quite a while. But Thank God ,  now she is better....
And Thanks so much for all of the prayers- I really appreciate them!!

Reeeeaaallllly Badddd Weeek

It all started with the "cat-tastrophy", and it just hasn't stopped-
Really bad week-I'l be glad when March is over.
Bella started running a really high fever last Friday as we were getting ready for the rodeo-and she still has it!
We have been to the Doctor, and she is on antibiotics, but not showing any improvement.
The only time I feel upset about being a single parent is when my kids are sick. That's when I really wish I had someone to lean on.
Pray for us- Please!

CAT--TASTROPHY

Well, it's been a hard week-all the way around....
Work wise lots of court this week, including a trip to Atlanta for Immigration--ugh.
On the home front we had a CAT-TASTROPHY....
Our beloved cat Sundae was ran over by my Son Edgar with the car- UGH UGH- not a good thing.
And she's pregnant-ugh-ugh-ugh- not a good week.
She made it... but barely.
Vet bills-ugh...........well you get the picture.
